Festival of Trees and Winterfest at the Colfax Library

The community is invited to tour The Festival of Trees on display at The Center adjacent to the Colfax Library December 1-28. The beautiful, colorful, creative display of 20 trees from Colfax Chamber, Route 26, Whitman County Sheriff’s Posse, Colfax Arts Council, CHS History Club, and more are sure to bring you holiday cheer.

Once you’ve picked your favorite tree, use the tree number to cast your vote for “People’s Choice” in-person or vote online at www.whitcolib.org December 1-20. Tree winner to be announced on December 22 via social media.

Don’t miss Colfax Winterfest on Saturday, December 4, including special appearances of the big guy, SANTA in front of the library for Santa Selfies from 1:00-3:00 pm and the library READING BEAR in the Colfax Christmas Parade at 5:30 pm down Mill and Main Street.

The Festival of Trees and Libey Gallery art exhibits are open during library hours Monday-Friday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday 1 – 5 p.m.
