Working Family Tax Credit Application Assistance at Whitman County Libraries

Representatives from the Washington Department of Revenue will be visiting our library branches to provide assistance signing up individuals for the new Working Family Tax Credit. 

If you have children and filed a 2022 Federal Tax Return you may be eligible for this new tax credit! You can learn more about the credit and see if you qualify at https://workingfamiliescredit.wa.gov/. You can also come to one of these library programs and get help directly from the Department of Revenue at the dates and locations listed below.

Saturday, March 4 – Rosalia 12-2pm   Friday, March 10 – Colfax 12-2pm  

UPDATE: Colfax’s program on March 10 has been cancelled due to winter weather

We are asking for registrations to schedule a spot with a Department of Revenue representative, so please contact Cody Allen, WCL Director, by emailing cody@whitcolib.org or by calling 509-397-4366. Please bring a copy of your 2022 Federal Income Tax Return, a Washington ID, your social or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN), and bank account information if you would like direct deposit.   Can’t make these sessions? The Department of Revenue will be holding more programs on the following dates at our branches:

 

• Uniontown – April 12, 4-6pm
• LaCrosse – April 13, 12-2pm
• Farmington – May 4, 3-5pm
• Malden – May 10, 4-6pm
• Albion – June 6, 4-6pm
• Tekoa – June 13, 4-6pm
