Bloomsday Exhibit at The Libey Gallery in Colfax

A slice of the annual Bloomsday road race is now on display at The Libey Gallery at Whitman County Library. The display includes 12 of the 44 official Bloomsday posters including the 2017-2020 series designed by Steve Merryman of Sigma, which when put together spell out the word “Bloomsday”.

The poster display spans part of the entire history of the race, showcasing a variety of artwork and photography that has been used to commemorate the event. The display also includes a quilt made with an assortment of official finisher shirts from the early years of the 45 year old running event held in Spokane, Washington.

The Bloomsday poster exhibit will be on display through the month of March at the Libey Gallery in Colfax, 110 S Main St. For more information on the exhibit, contact Shirley Cornelius, (509) 397-4366 or shirleyc@whitcolib.org
