Flight and Aerodynamics STEAM Program for Kids Countywide

*STEAM Pop-Up Programs Monday Aug. 9 at 11:30 in Garfield & 1:00 in Palouse and Thursday Aug 12 at 3:00 in Farmington have been cancelled. These programs will be rescheduled for a future date.

Whitman County Library along with a grant from the Innovia Foundation sponsors a free Flight and Aerodynamics STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) program at all branch locations this August.

During the fun hands-on outdoor program, kids will explore the early history of flight, discuss things that fly naturally, and create a sled kite. The program is designed for kids age 6 and up, but under 6 are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

Tuesday, Aug. 17 – LaCrosse Town Park 9:30am, Endicott Trinity Lutheran Church 11:30am & St. John Park 2pm

Wednesday, Aug. 18 – Albion Park 11am & Uniontown Holzer Park 1pm

Thursday, Aug. 19 – Colton Park 1pm

Friday, Aug. 20 – Malden Park 10am & Rosalia City Park 12pm

Monday, Aug. 23 – Tekoa (grass area next to library) 11am & Oakesdale Park 1pm
