Community Nights at Colfax Library in November

Previous Board Game Nights & Mug Painting at Whitman County Libraries

Colfax Library is hosting Community Nights every Wednesday this fall! Each week the library offers a fun community-oriented program, always on a Wednesday afternoon or evening. These programs are meant to bring the community together again and are generally for all ages, although some are geared toward a specific age group – details below.

November Community Nights at Colfax Library:

November 2 & 9: Board Game Night, 5:30 p.m. ALL AGES. Come and play one of your favorite board games or learn something new! The library received a grant to purchase a new board game collection, ranging from classics like Operation to modern hits like Ticket to Ride and 7 Wonders. This is an especially great opportunity for those looking into holiday gifts ideas, but want to try before they buy.

November 16: Mug Painting, 2:45-3:30 p.m. KIDS & FAMILIES. Let’s get creative together and paint a ceramic mugs just in time for fall! Please RSVP with Sheri at sheri@whitcolib.org or 509-397-4366 to reserve your spot as supplies are limited. JES students may take bus 17 with a parental note. After mugs are fired and glazed, you will be contacted when for pick up.

November 23: Director Social Hour, 4:30-6:00 p.m. ALL AGES. We are thankful for all of our wonderful patrons! Please join us for snacks, something hot to sip on, and a social hour with Library Director, Cody Allen.

November 30: Ornament Decorating, 3:30-5:00 p.m. KIDS & FAMILIES. Children of all ages are invited to drop-in to decorate ornaments for the kids’ library tree for Festival of Trees.

All programs will take place at Colfax Library. For more information on these and other library programs, please check the Whitman County Library website at whitcolib.org, follow us on social media, or call the library at 509-397-4366. We hope to see you there!
