Join the Town of Garfield in their annual May Day celebration on Saturday, May 21. Everyone is invited to a full day of activities and fun for the whole family starting with breakfast from 6-9 a.m.; baking contest at 9 a.m., and kid parade at 10:30 a.m. Immediately following the parade, join in the cake walk, lawn mower competition, 4 on 4 basketball tournament, corn hole tournament, music, vendors, food and more.
The Garfield Library is partnering with 3 Forks Bike Shop, Palouse Alliance, Pullman Regional Hospital, and Meter Foundation to offer free bike repair and obstacle course. Bring down your bike and let 3 Forks Bike Shop air up your tires and get your bike in top shape for summer. Kids are welcome to challenge their riding skills on the obstacle course.
