Care Kits Distributed to Hundreds of Residents January 8, 2021 Sarah Bofenkamp Branches, Colfax, COVID-19, WCL News Residents have Relaxed, Revived, Reduced Stress Thanks to a grant from the Innovia Foundation, Whitman County Library in collaboration with Council on Aging & Human Services, Palouse River Counseling, and Whitman Hospital created and distributed over 800 mental wellness focused “Care Kits” to seniors, adults, teens and children. Teen bags ready to go out Coming Soon: Exercise Your Body and Exercise Your Mind activity kits for ages 5-105 available to checkout at the library. Funding provided by the Innovia Foundation.
