Mark your calendars everyone, because it’s almost time for the sweetest event of the season! On Thursday, November 25 at 8 a.m. the Annual Palouse Turkey Leg will officially be back and, with it, your opportunity to walk (or run) for your local library.
As always, expect a day of good cheer and fierce fundraising – where all proceeds fund new books and programming in Palouse. Support the library, enjoy a free coffee and donut, talk gratitude with the Palouse Federated Church, and spend a crisp morning with your loved ones and your neighbors all at once.
Want to help support the library but can’t make it to the event? Donations can be mailed directly to the Palouse Library at PO BOX 168, Palouse, WA 99161 or dropped in the book drop out front.
Over the past 16 years, the Turkey Leg Fun Run has raised well over $16,000 for purchasing hundreds of children’s books, community resources and more!
For more information on the event, contact Sarah Bofenkamp at the Palouse Library. Event will follow COVID safety guidelines (masks and social distancing) as per state requirements.
