Talk with Local Ecologist, Dr. Jens Hegg at Garfield Library

Kick start summer reading with local ecologist Dr. Jens Hegg on Monday, June 13 at 12 p.m. at the Garfield Library. Learn about underwater creatures and how they migrate through our waters.

Dr. Hegg will also discuss his research, including salmon here in Washington, the Amazonian “Goliath” catfish, and sawfish that use their long toothy nose to hunt. On display at this event will be two sawfish rostrums courtesy of the University of Idaho collection. For additional information on Dr. Jens Heggs, visit www.jenshegg.com
