Stretch your reading skills and explore new genres, or specific types of books. Expanding what you read can strengthen your comprehension and spark your imagination. All ages are encouraged to read (or be read to) new books and complete activities to earn badges in this ongoing challenge.

The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is another fun online challenge for families with children. This early literacy program encourages reading to babies, toddlers and preschoolers before your child starts kindergarten. This challenge is on-going.
